Nile Air is in search of dynamic Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - B1/B2 to join the team.
Job Purpose:
Assist authorized Engineers in accomplishing all maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations as per the approval of AMO, working only under the supervision of a qualified and authorized AMO personnel, such as authorized Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Prepares scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions.
-Assist to perform defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
-Assist authorized Engineers to maintain positive awareness to the cost of aircraft maintenance including use of time and materials.
-Minimizes unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair cost by avoiding unnecessary damage and repeat work during maintenance.
-Assist authorized Engineers for the post arrival handling of the aircraft and ensure that the aircraft is prepared for the next flight, after which correct procedures are to be used to shut down and secure the aircraft.
-Assist authorized Engineers for the appearance of the aircraft internally and externally prior to any flight and upon its return.
-Presents a professional image of himself and of the company to the customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor of engineering or equivalent
-Holds an ECAA LWTR A&C / X-rated Aircraft Maintenance License
-Minimum of one year in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a reputable airline or Aircraft Maintenance Organization.
-A320/A321 equipped with V2500/CFM56 type course is preferable.
-Hand skills are mandatory and required.
-Able to demonstrate airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
-Ability to read, writes, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
-Good computer skills.
